As a San Diegan local, the one thing I recommend if you like Italian is Filippis Pizza Grotto. And to authenticate this choice, my dad is from New York and he's 100% Italian. Its our favorite Italian here in San Diego and I wish we could eat here more than we already do.

I think Lucha Libre is overrated. They keep their toppings and sauces at near freezing and the burrito goes cold almost instantly.

If you think San Diego has one of the best Mexican food restaurants you haven’t tasted anything. In my opinion San Diego has very few good Mexican restaurants. Most of them are bad and fraudulent. You don’t get what you pay for.

Taco Surf PB is my pick for best breakfast burrito in SD. Their crispy hash browns really elevate the burrito to another level.

1. El Indio- Buñuelo Chips must - Burritos excellent 2. Golden chopsticks- salt n pepper chicken wings- to die for. 3. City Tacos- Mexicali taco( melts in the mouth) Encinitas El Gordos- is meh compared to other spots.

9.9/10 list and my only complaint being tacos el gordo and lucha libre. not saying they arent worth going to, they 100% are but you can find better tacos/burritos at a handful of smaller taco shops around the city. obviously impossible to try them all like a 26 year old native has lol but thats why i only took off the .1 :) still a fantastic list and video.
